Better Digestion
In this online course with Master Zhen Hua Yang, you’ll learn to improve digestion and support intestinal health through two key elements:
1. Balancing emotions
2. Practicing “Internal Organ Servicing”
Even the most nutritious foods have limited impact if the body cannot effectively process them. Digestive challenges can lead to weight gain, fatigue, difficulty focusing, weakened immunity, abdominal pain, and more. The solution to internal issues lies within!
The Calligraphy Health system combines movement with breath, focused attention, and organ servicing. Together, these elements help regulate three essential, interconnected systems that form the foundation of health and well-being: 1) the digestive system, 2) blood circulation, and 3) the nervous system.
Digestion and emotional balance are closely linked, each influencing the other. Improving digestion begins by reducing stress and pressure to bring the body into a more relaxed, balanced state. The body operates as a whole, not as separate parts, and understanding this interconnectedness can greatly support healing.
The next step is building an internal connection between the mind, body, and organs. For physical, emotional, and spiritual health, circulation is critical: Qi (vital energy) and blood move together. Any restriction in blood flow is a restriction in energy flow. Enhancing blood circulation is the first step to healing the internal systems—not through external force but by reestablishing connection with the body. This approach involves fostering healthy communication between the mind and blood cells.
The third step is learning to coordinate body movement with the digestive organs, effectively servicing them. This skill acts like a self-visceral massage that gradually releases the fascia surrounding the organs, helps reduce accumulated fat, and increases blood flow – all of which promote better function and restore internal harmony.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine and ancient self-healing practices, the abdomen houses an energy center called the Dantian, or “mind.” Western medicine also recognizes the “second brain” in the gut and its importance. By practicing organ servicing, you can support the health of these internal organs while also expanding and cultivating internal energy.
